FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Gov. Andy Beshear reported two more cases of the coronavirus in the state of Kentucky on Tuesday afternoon.

Both new cases came from Harrison County. One of the new patients is a 60-year-old male while the other is a 54-year-old female. Harrison County's coronavirus total is now up to five.

"There are links to all of the Harrison County individuals," Beshear noted. "Those links are slightly different and we can't disclose them at the time, but it is important to note that they are all linked."

There are now eight total cases in the state, two from Fayette County and one from Jefferson County.

Beshear said there will be another briefing Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.
