LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning near the corner of Jersey and Winslow streets.
The incident occurred just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
Police say an officer heard shots being fired in the area and went to investigate. The officer found shell casings on the ground, but could not locate a victim or any property damage.
A victim showed up at the hospital shortly after the shooting and was taken into surgery with serious injuries.
