LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Walmart cashier who reportedly admitted to taking cash from her drawer "once or twice" has now been accused of stealing more than $50,000.
Jeanette Taylor, 47 of Louisville, has now been charged with theft by deception.
Police said she repeatedly took money out of her cash register at the Walmart near Cane Run Road over a period of months.
Taylor has now been faced with a felony charge, which is punishable by 5 to 10 years in prison.
