Woman in custody after tires seen slashed outside Fayette County Courthouse

A citation by the Lexington Police Department revealed the identity of the woman who was arrested after she was seen outside the Fayette County Courthouse allegedly slashing vehicle tires on Wednesday.

The citation detailed that a victim and witnesses told police that a woman, identified in the citation as Tiffany Nicole Roberts, was seen randomly slashing tires outside the courthouse.

Roberts, according to the citation, was seen on video allegedly slashing the tires and leaving toward the area where she was ultimately found by police. Further, two knives were reportedly found on Roberts.

Roberts was charged with first-degree criminal mischief and her arraignment is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.

An LEX 18 crew member reportedly witnessed an individual slashing tires outside the Fayette County Courthouse on Wednesday morning.

Following the incident, LEX 18 on the scene witnessed officers with the Lexington Police Department taking a woman into custody.
