CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Clark County woman has pleaded guilty after she allegedly stole more than $200,000 from the student activity fund at George Rogers Clark High School.

The Winchester Sun reported that 61-year-old Dixie Rigney entered the guilty plea on Thursday.

The paper also reported that Rigney told the judge that she took the money while working as a secretary at the school and then altered or forged records from July 2010 to Jan. 2019.

Rigney's attorney said that full restitution has already been paid to the school. She was fired from the high school in January.

Rigney has been scheduled to be sentenced in Feb. 2020.
