(LEX 18) — Gov. Andy Beshear announced Sunday that all non-essential businesses must be closed by 8 p.m. Monday.
So what does that mean exactly? The order excludes businesses such as grocery stores, pet supply stores, pharmacies, hardware stores, box stores and gas stations..and liquor stores. It does not include restaurants that do not have curb-side takeout or delivery, car dealerships, or retail/clothing stores.
To clarify our order closing certain retail to in-store activity as of 8 p.m. tonight due to #COVID19 it will not close hardware or cell phone/cell phone repair stores BUT those stores must enforce social distancing per the CDC. For more information visit https://t.co/7zWLjKzgpy

The closures come in the aftermath of other orders shutting down schools, church services and large gatherings.
I checked with the governor’s office, and animal feed stores will not be affected by his executive order because they’re considered an essential business.
Here’s the list of which retail businesses must close to in-person traffic by 8 p.m. Monday and which are exempt. https://t.co/x9mUgyqLXd pic.twitter.com/7VKLDV1vYl
