One last "warm" day

Temperatures slip before an Arctic blast.

Be sure to enjoy this last nice, "warm" day. We'll follow up this frosty start with seasonal highs near 60°. Most of the day will be dry despite increasing late-day clouds. That's the last little bit of good news we have. Showers will arrive overnight. There will be an uptick in coverage and intensity. Behind the rain there will be a blast of Arctic air. There is a chance for a little light snow as the precipitation exits Friday morning. The work week ends feeling like December with a high only in the upper 30s!

Don't get too down about winter's early arrive just yet. Temperatures will rebound nicely over the weekend. In fact we'll be near 60° again on Sunday. Then get ready for an even colder blast. Another system will bring the potential for rain and/or snow showers on Monday followed by highs only in the 30s through the middle of next week.
