LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Deputies in Laurel County arrested a man after they say shots were fired during a fight.
76 year-old Danny McAlarnis was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment.
Police say two people were fighting when McAlarnis went to his bedroom, grabbed a shotgun, and came back firing.
Deputies say he also began screaming during questioning, and allegedly attacked the officers once placed under arrest.
In addition to the endangerment charge, he is also charged with terroristic threatening, disorderly conduct, menacing and resisting arrest.
McAlarnis is being held in the Laurel County Detention Center.
