Outdoor weather week

Get outside now, because the "cool" is coming

Temperatures have cooled, and you may have noticed a chill to the air this morning. We’re not quite feeling the winter air, but we’re not that far off either. Temperatures slid down into the low 40s this morning and we’re expected to reach the low 70s this afternoon. Rain had finished, making for nice outdoor weather time.

We continue with the pleasant weather through the rest of the week. We will begin to warm as high pressure rolls east and shifts our wind pattern. Winds from the south will bring temperatures into the upper 70s/low 80s for the end of the week. The second cold front this week will arrive Saturday; just in time for the UK game. Rain showers and thunderstorms are possible. Rain amounts will be far less than what we picked up with the early-week front. Behind the front, cooler temperatures will knock us down again taking the 80s down into the 60s for highs, and the low 40s for lows. A large Canadian air mass will keep thing chilly into next week.
