LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police were looking for a white Honda with front-end damage after a man was struck in a hit-and-run collison early Friday morning on the city's northwest side.

Authorities said the man was struck about 4:50 a.m. along New Circle Road in the Bryan Station neighborhood.

The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his leg, police said, and was taken to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment.

He told police the vehicle that struck him was a white Honda and that it sustained front-end damage in the collision. No information on the vehicle's model type was disclosed.

Police said the man was wearing dark clothing and was crossing New Circle at an area without a crosswalk.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Lexington police.
