Last night's cold front had the best timing. It brought us a glorious Caturday with sunshine, slightly cool temperatures, and lower humidity. The weather couldn't be more perfect for the Cats big match up against Florida. It will be pleasant at kickoff with temperatures near 80°. It will cool off nicely once the sun sets. It will start getting a little "cool" by post game, we'll already be in the mid 60s. Temperatures will settle into the mid to upper 50s overnight under clear skies.
We are back to the hot stuff Sunday, but the humidity will stay at bay. We'll call it "pleasantly hot" to end the weekend with highs near 90°. This September heat wave will continue into a second week with highs near 90° straight on through the work week. We will also remain very dry. Showers and thunderstorms will have a hard time getting going with high pressure dominating the region.
