LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Meerkat is our Pet of the Day on April 23! She is a 1-year-old Pit Bull mix that has been waiting for a home since December! Meerkat has been spending time in a temporary foster home, and her foster mom describes her as a "very sweet" girl that loves snuggling and being around people.
