LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Five Taco Bell restaurants across Lexington were burglarized overnight, Lexington police said.
Lexington police said that the break-ins were discovered Tuesday morning. Authorities said the break-ins bear similarities and the thief or thieves targeted cash registers.
Police did not immediately disclose if any money was taken.
The restaurants affected were located on Nicholasville, New Circle and Harrodsburg roads, Plaudit Place and Sharkey Way.
The crimes remain under investigation.
