Kentucky State Police troopers are investigating a police chase that led to a crash that left a woman in critical condition.

KSP officials say the incident started in Mercer County when Harrodsburg police officers tried to pull over a Chrysler driven by 30-year-old David Henderson. 27-year-old Rachel Webb was reportedly a passenger inside the car.

According to KSP, Henderson failed to stop and led police on a chase into Anderson County. Reportedly the pursuit ended when Henderson's Chrysler crashed with a Nissan Altima on US 127 at the intersection with US 62.

Three people were inside the Nissan, and one woman was reportedly taken to UK Hospital in critical condition.

Henderson was arrested for a Failure to Appear warrant out of Grayson County. The Harrodsburg Police Department also charged Henderson with Speeding 26mph Over the Limit, Reckless Driving, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (Motor Vehicle), Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Failure to or Improper Signal and Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs 1st Offense (Aggravated Circumstance).
