LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police arrested a man following a chase, only to find out that he was already wanted.
The Laurel County Sheriff's Office said deputies tried to pull over Christopher Johnson, 35, when they allegedly clocked him going 22 miles an hour over the speed limit.
Instead of stopping, police said Johnson kept driving until he got to a dead end road.
When police arrested him, Johnson reportedly told police that he fled because he had a suspended license.
Police later learned that Johnson was wanted for violating parole, absconding from supervision, failing to attend substance abuse treatment and other charges.
Johnson is now in the Laurel County Jail facing numerous charges.
