LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) - — Lexington police are investigating after an ambulance responding to a call was caught in the crossfire of the shooting.
The call came in just after 2:30 p.m. on Courtland Drive.
Lexington Police say that a vehicle, described only as a dark-colored passenger car, was shooting at a black Toyota Camry carrying a woman and two children. They say that an ambulance was also hit by one bullet. The Camry had a bullet hole in the back windshield.
Thankfully, no one was injured. Lexington police are asking help from neighbors to try and find the person or people responsible for firing shots.
The scene is now clear.
