BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Authorities in Boyd County are on the hunt for a sex abuse suspect who they said fled from house arrest.
The Sheriff's Office said Josh Phillips, 40, removed a monitoring device and left his home.
Phillips is charged with two counts of sex abuse of a child under 12 and distribution of obscene material to a minor.
Phillips was being held under house arrest, with a $200,000 property bond.
Prosecutors have scheduled a hearing on August 8 to force him to forfeit the property.
