LILY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man was arrested on Saturday after police received a call about a possible assault.
Joshua Cook, 37, of Bimble, Kentucky was arrested on Saturday off Robinson Creek Road in Lily, Kentucky.
The victim told police that the assault happened at a residence and that she had left the residence after Cook assaulted her.
The victim also told police that Cook was very intoxicated. Deputies found several items inside the residence broken.
Cook was charged with assault in the fourth degree with on visible injury.
Cook has been taken to the Laurel County Corrections Center.
