POWELL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Powell County Search And Rescue Team was working to save a hiker who fell at the Red River Gorge on Sunday.
The group posted on their Facebook page that a 911 call came in for a fall victim at the Auxier Ridge Trail.
Powell SAR Spokesperson Lisa Johnson told LEX 18 that they were working to rescue the hiker and they were expecting that person to be okay, and she would provide additional details after.
