CINCINNATI (LEX 18) - — The Bevin campaign posted a video of President Donald Trump giving the Republican candidate a shout out during this week's rally in Cincinnati, Ohio.
"We have a man who is running for Governor of Kentucky again. He's done an incredible job. Did you ever hear that sometimes you can do such a good job that not everyone appreciates it? But they had a lot of problems with pensions and a lot of tremendous problems that a normal governor would have never been able to correct." President Trump exclaimed.
Bevin can be seen standing and saluting the President.
LEX 18 had a chance to talk with Governor Matt Bevin to ask if he had made President Trump aware of the situation involving miners in Harlan County who are protesting following Blackjewel Mining's Chapter 11 bankruptcy had left them without pay. Here's what he had to say.
