FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Even though Governor Beshear did not hold his coronavirus press conference on Saturday, protesters were back at the state capitol.
Several dozen gathered to show their disapproval for the many weeks that non-essential businesses were ordered to close.
While phase 1 of reopening Kentucky started back on May 11th, protesters say the shutdown was unconstitutional.
Not everyone in attendance wore masks and practiced social distancing.
No counter-protesters were at the rally.
