LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)- — Railbird Festival organizers are getting ready for the crowds for this weekend's upcoming music festival on the ground of Keeneland.

Organizers are working with Keeneland Security and Lexington to develop a safety plan for the festival. However, for security, the exact details of that plan aren't being released.

Concert-goers guests will go through a thorough bag search and screening process upon entry, much like many other large events. There will also be free water stations and shades to help patrons stay cool in hot temperatures.

"We’re looking forward to an amazing weekend of music, Bourbon, horses, and the best that the Bluegrass has to offer at the inaugural Railbird Festival," reads a statement from the company.
