Kentucky is taking one step closer to opening back up.
As part of the state's "Healthy at Work" plan, the following businesses are back open:
- Barbershops/Cosmetology/Hair Salons
- Massage Therapy
- Nail Salons
- Tanning Salons
- Tattoo Parlors
Each of the businesses must limit the number of clients to 33% capacity. Employees are excluded from this 33% maximum.
Businesses are told to get rid of any waiting areas and provide services by appointment only. Officials recommend using the phone or Internet to conduct business as much as possible.
Workers are allowed to take temperatures of clients upon entering their establishment and can refuse anyone of service if they show symptoms of COVID-19.

Several more phases will continue to roll out throughout June. On June 1, aquatic centers, bowling alleys, fitness centers, and movie theaters are among businesses that can reopen. On June 29, bars can open up, and people can be in groups of up to 50 people.
