LAKE COUNTY, Fla. (Orlando Sentinel) — A Kentucky man was killed Monday in a paragliding accident in Florida, according to a report.
The Orlando Sentinel reports 59-year-old Michael McGuire was killed. The report did not say where in the commonwealth McGuire had lived.
According to the newspaper, McGuire was paragliding on Lake Beauclair, which is about 40 minutes outside of Orlando, when the accident occurred.
Witnesses told police the paraglider appeared to be spinning out of control before it crashed.
