A cut-off upper low will slowly crawl overhead for a few days leading to a soggy, unseasonably cool and unsettled situation.

Expect a Monday through Wednesday rainfall range from 1" to 4" across the Commonwealth with the band of heaviest rain (2" to 4") swamping northern Kentucky south through the heart of the Bluegrass into southern counties.

Rounds of torrential rain could lead to dangerous flash flooding, a flash flood watch is in effect through Tuesday evening.
