Scott County coroner indicted on seven counts

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Scott County Coroner John Goble was indicted on seven counts Thursday, according to the Georgetown News-Graphic.

Those counts include perjury and official misconduct.

Goble is set to stand trial this fall on charges of receiving stolen property. He is accused of taking guns and ammo stolen from Kentucky State Police.

The Georgetown News-Graphic reports that former Kentucky State Police Captain Michael Crawford and Master Trooper Mitch Harris were also indicted Thursday on two counts of receiving stolen property.
