The Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been extended into the Bluegrass, and will continue until 9 PM. There have already been clusters of storms, including a handful of severe thunderstorms, this afternoon. We are expected the "main event" to arrive on the next several hours. A line of strong to severe thunderstorms will drop in during the evening hours. Damaging winds, large hail, and heavy rain are the primary threats.
