A few strong storms possible south this evening.

Showers will get a little jolt of energy late this afternoon and evening. There is still the potential for a few strong/severe storms across southern Kentucky. Chances wane heading north across the Bluegrass. Any stronger storm will be capable for producing damaging winds, large hail, and heavy rain. The threat will diminish later this evening. Showers will continue overnight and into Sunday as a low crawls along the Ohio River. Temperatures will also struggle tomorrow with highs only in the lower 50s.

Next week will begin dry before rounds of showers and storms return mid-week. We'll turn the whole pattern around as May begins. Sunnier days are ahead and so are warmer temperatures. The weather would be perfect if next weekend was still Derby weekend.
