There will be some wet and unsettled periods this week, but also some time to get of the house and enjoy some nice early spring weather.
Showers return tonight and linger through early Monday afternoon. Skies will remain cloudy during the second half of the day, but it will be milder with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Conditions will remain dry through early Tuesday. A warm front that will work through middle Tennessee and into the Commonwealth will during another round of showers and storms late-day. There is the possibility of strong and severe storms. The best chances will be across southern Kentucky and during the evening and overnight hours. There is still some uncertainty on the exact location and timing. The potential for stronger storm may continue until the cold front passes early Wednesday morning.
Then we'll get into some good stuff! You can take work and home school outside mid-week with warmer and drier days ahead. Thunderstorms will return Thursday night and stay off and on through the start of next weekend.
