LEXINGTON, KY- — It was a huge day for Kentucky Derby hopefuls as 155 total points were on the line, with 50 going to the winner in each of the three stakes races.

In the Tampa Bay Derby "Sole Volante" was the favorite coming into the day. The Patrick Biancone trained horse had previously won the Sam F. Davis Stakes. The winner however, was a long-shot. At 49-1 odds "King Guillermo" took the 50 points in a runaway victory. "Sole Volante" followed in second, "Texas Swing" in 3rd.

The Gotham Stakes you could say was straight chalk. All the favorites placed, with "Michevious Alex" taking first, followed by "Untitled" and "Attachment Rate".

In the San Felipe Stakes Bob Baffert trained "Authentic" took first place. "Honor AP" was second, while "Storm the Court" finished in third.
