LEXINGTON, Ky. – Saturday will be Teacher Appreciation Day at Kroger Field. Kentucky football is participating in Extra Yard for Teachers as the Wildcats host No. 14 Mississippi State this weekend.

Teachers are invited to purchase $26 tickets to the game by visiting UKathletics.com/eyft. Teachers who purchase will receive a unique referral link they can share with friends, family and coworkers. Groups using the same referral link will automatically be seated together. This offer is valid online only prior to the game.

Most local school districts have already registered for their teachers to have access to this offer. Teachers from registered districts can enter their official school email address to buy $26 tickets. Unregistered school districts may register by 5 p.m. on Wednesday with Nathan Schwake at weareuk@uky.edu to be eligible to receive access to this exclusive $26 ticket package.

Extra Yard for Teachers is the primary platform of the College Football Playoff Foundation, the charitable arm of the College Football Playoff. Extra Yard for Teachers elevates the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering teachers through the implementation of programs in four focus areas: resources, recognition, recruitment and professional development. The CFP Foundation utilizes multiple partnerships to execute its initiatives and support positive educational outcomes.

UK’s game vs. Mississippi State will kick off at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Kroger Field. Tickets are still available to the public at UKFootballTix.com.
