SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSTM)– The NBC affiliate in Syracuse is reporting that Coach Jim Boeheim hit and killed a person on I-690 following a victory over the Louisville Cardinals.
According to WSTM, investigators say two cars had been involved in a crash on the interstate when one of the men got out of the vehicle. That’s when law enforcement official says Boeheim struck the 30-year-old man after the initial crash.
Boeheim is cooperating fully with the investigation.
Syracuse beat Louisville by 20 points earlier in the evening.
