LEXINGTON, Ky- Kentucky will take on Abilene Christian in their opening round of the NCAA Tournament. Kentucky received a No. 2 Seed, with Tennessee stealing Kentucky’s shot at playing in Columbus and Louisville with their SEC tournament win on Saturday.
If Kentucky were to advance they would take on the winner of Wofford and Seton Hall. The matchup against the Pirates would be a rematch.
The North Carolina Tarheels are the #1 seed in Kentucky’s region.
The best news of all? Kentucky is on the opposite side of Duke, meaning a potential rematch with the Blue Devils would have to wait until the National Championship.
