LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Kentucky Wildcats handed a loss Friday to Kentucky State in their final exhibition game before regular season play begins.
The Cats finished off the Thorobreds 83-51. Players Immanuel Quickley, Nate Sestina and Kahlil Whitney showed the most impressive numbers of the evening.
Quickly scored 17 points, Whitney made an impressive 15 points and 5 rebounds followed by Sestina with 13 points and 8 rebounds.
Kentucky's regular season play begins next Tuesday in New York City where the No. 2 Cats will face off against No 1. Michigan State at Madison Square Garden.
