But how long will it last?

I guess Punxsutawney Phil was right, spring has arrived early. (It was more of a coincidence really.) After sunshine and highs in the 60s today, skies will stay mostly clear tonight with lows only in the lower 40s.

Very warm days are on the way to start the week. Monday will be the warmest of the bunch with a high in the mid 60s. Tomorrow will be a day to enjoy. We stay dry despite increasing clouds. The spring-like warmth will also bring chances for rain and storms. Showers will start creeping in late Monday night/Tuesday morning. Rounds of rain, sometimes heavy, and a few storms will linger through Thursday. Two to four inches of rain are possible, especially across southeastern Kentucky. Real winter has to lurking somewhere with all of the spring-like weather that is in our forecast. Temperatures will eventually turn much colder and we will say hello to February on Friday. There are also a couple of chance for rain and snow showers into next weekend.
