Welcome back to spring! We'll have everything going for us today - there will be sunshine and warmer temperatures. We're expecting highs in the mid 70s north, upper 70s to near 80° down south. The warmest air of the season will flow through the Bluegrass tomorrow and Saturday. Lexington could pick up the 80-degree day of the year by Saturday. We can thank a high in the Gulf for all of this warmth. This dome will keep us dry today, not so much each of the next two days. Isolated showers are possible Friday before rounds of rain and storms move through on Saturday. Shower activity will exit Sunday. Temperatures will also begin to cool. Highs will be in the 40s and 50s next week. After sunshine on Monday, rain will return with a sprawling system through the middle of next week.
