St. Henry student arrested after posting threats on Snapchat

BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A male 15-year old student at St. Henry High School was arrested on Thursday after posting threatening messages on Snapchat.

Boone County Sheriff's Office Deputies were dispatched to St. Henry High School after school administrators were made aware of two threatening messages that were posted by the student on his Snapchat story.

The first threatening image showed a pistol with a caption, "yall really want to talk (expletive) pull up then." He received the picture of the pistol from his cousin who lives out of state.

The second threatening image was a pocket knife with a caption, "You will get stabbed fake people are snitches."

The student later admitted to possessing the pocket knife on school property. The knife was confiscated from his locker.

The student has been charged with Second Degree Terroristic Threatening, a Class D Felony. He was lodged at the Campbell Juvenline Detention Center per a judge's order.
