LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — In the recently ended 2019 legislative session, a bill involving the legalization of medical marijuana passed out of one House committee, but then never made it to the House floor for a full vote.
The topic remains of great interest and is all but certain to return in the next session.
“State of the Commonwealth” assembled a panel to discuss various aspects of the issue.
Joining us for the discussion were Jim Higdon, owner of Cornbread Hemp Co.; Michael Raus, founder of Kentucky Bluegrass Cannabis; Dr. Danesh Mazloomdoost of Wellward Regenerative Medicine; and Senate President Robert Stivers.
