You can already feel a change in the air. The muggies are back. Today will be a steamy one with highs near 90° again, but it will feel more 95°. Pop-up storms will be possible during the heat of the day. We'll carry the hot and muggy conditions over into the start of the work week.
Meanwhile Barry continues to dump heavy rain and bring major flooding concerns across the Lower Mississippi River Valley. Our rain and storm chances will be on the rise as the remnants move into the Ohio Valley mid-week. It's not looking great for the start of the Barbasol Championship with rain and storms likely on Wednesday. The unsettled weather will clear up for the later rounds but will be replaced by some intense heat.
