Be prepared to sweat this weekend as the oppressive humidity hangs on with highs in the mid 80s. There will be an uptick in storm coverage, especially Saturday afternoon and evening, as a cold front slings south. Downpours are almost a given in this soupy air. Localized flooding concerns may arise. The ground is very saturated following the recent tropical downpours. Lightning and gusty winds with these storms will interrupt some of your outdoor plans. There will be a little bit more dry time and space between storms on Sunday.
I know you don't want to think about going back to work on Monday, but the start of next week will be awesome! The cold front will erase storm chances and wipe away the "icky" factor. Humidity levels will be more bearable early next week. We'll trade in storm chances for more heat. There are several opportunities over the relatively dry days next week to hit 90 degrees.
