Lexington Legends Forecast
Home Series: Friday, June 20th  – Sunday, June 23th
Whitaker Bank Ballpark
Opponent: Greenville Drive

We’ve got a *typical* summer-time pattern for this weekend’s Legends series with heat, humidity, and the occasional shower or thundershower.

*Game times and information below may not be current, check the Lexington Legends website for more information: https://www.milb.com/lexington

Thursday, June 20th:
First Pitch: 7:05 PM EDT
Thirsty Thursday
Bark-in-the-Park
The rainy pattern has certainly stayed past its welcome and will be coming to an end Thursday. The pattern shows that the rain will be primarily in the morning hours and tapering through the afternoon/evening. That means the weather will be getting better as the game goes on. Don’t be shocked if a thundershower or rain shower lines up over the ballpark near first pitch. It will be warm, not hot.

Friday, June 21st:
First Pitch: 7:05 PM EDT
Go Red Night
Kid Jersey Giveaway
Post-Game Fireworks
Friday is shaping up to be the best day this series for baseball. Higher pressure is overhead, so you’ll have a lot more sun than rain. In fact, the rain chances will be minimal to start with. Temperatures will be warm so dress appropriately. Speaking of dress…You’ll see a lot of fans wearing red this Friday. No, it will not be a sudden influx of Greenville Drive fans, rather a call to raise awareness for heart disease. Whitaker Bank will be hosting a “Go Red” night, presented by the American Heart Association. Don’t forget about the post-game fireworks!

Saturday, June 22nd:
First Pitch: 6:35 PM EDT
First Responders Night
Post-Game Fireworks
The Legends are showing their support for Local Responders on Saturday night! All first responders that show their ID will get discounted tickets at the box office. If you plan to head out, make sure you are aware that Saturday comes with a thunderstorm chance. The pattern for the weekend will be active but will consist of a more typical thunderstorm pattern. What I mean by that is, the storms will be more “hit & miss” compared to what we had this week. Still, have a rain jacket handy. Temperatures will feel like summer! Don’t forget about the post-game fireworks (weather-permitting).

Sunday, June 23rd:
First Pitch: 2:05 PM EDT
LGBTQ+ Brunch
Kids Get in Free!
Family Playtime on the Field
Sunday’s are for the kiddos with an early afternoon matchup with the Drive. This Sunday looks to be a stormy one, but once again it will depend on where the storms line up. Dress for hot and prepare for stormy. Still, there’s a chance that the entire game will go off without a hitch. Join the Legends for an LGBTQ+ brunch Sunday before the game, to celebrate pride!
