HARLAN, Ky. (LEX 18) — A body found earlier this month has been determined to be a missing man from Harlan.
According to State Police, troopers discovered a decomposed body earlier this month in a residence on May Street. The residence had been abandoned for almost six years. The home's caretaker was checking on the property when he made the discovery.
An autopsy concluded that the remains belonged to 50-year-old Tim Middleton. Middleton was the subject of a missing persons investigation.
The cause of death is still pending.
