Are we starting to sound like a broken record yet? Tomorrow will be another day with partly to mostly sunny skies and isolated afternoon storm chances. Any storms that do pop up will be capable producing locally heavy rain. Very warm too with highs in the upper 80s.
A mini heat wave is brewing into the new week. A brief appearance from highs pressure will usher in a hotter, but not necessary more humid air mass. Highs will climb into the low 90s Monday and Tuesday. There are also some "cool for August" days to follow this brief burst of heat. Scattered thunderstorms will also return to the forecast, which will gradually cool temperatures. We'll see the low to mid 80s for highs beginning Wednesday and continuing through next weekend.
