A powerful system moving across the Deep South has sent clouds and a few showers our way today. Most of the rain will remain south of the Bluegrass and Mountain parkways through late tonight. Most of the showers will have exited the Commonwealth by wake up tomorrow.
Sunnier days are ahead. Skies will become mostly sunny by tomorrow afternoon. The only little hiccup will be a weak front that may squeeze out a few showers Monday night. Temperatures will remain cool, though. Highs will be in the lower 60s through mid-week. Monday night's weak boundary will not only reinforce the cooler temperatures, but will also bring the potential for a frost or freeze Wednesday morning. Widespread showers and storms return on Thursday. This will kick off an unsettled stretch of off and on showers and storms that will continue through next weekend.
