The theme of this weekend's forecast is it keeps getting better. Today's showers and general dreariness are wrapping up as a weak system pass through the Bluegrass. Temperatures will only take a tiny step back into the start of the weekend. Tomorrow will be a seasonal day all the way around. We'll begin in the upper 20s and end the day with highs in the mid to upper 40s under sunshine. Clouds will increase throughout the day on Sunday, but that won't stop temperatures. We'll see highs in the upper 50 to near 60°.

Rain chance will be on the rise late Sunday into Monday as a much stronger system approaches. Next week begins warm and wet followed by a mid-week chill. Temperatures will take a 30-degree behind a cold front that will cross on Monday. The mid-week chill will rival some of the coldest temperatures of the year. Wednesday will begin in the teens and end with a high near 30°. And that's not considering the wind chill. The pattern keeps us chilly and dry through the end of next week.
