The Madison County coroner confirmed to LEX 18 that one was killed in a motorcycle crash on Berea Road/US 25 southbound at the intersection of Center on Thursday. He added that another person was taken to UK with life-threatening injuries.
The roadways in the area of the crash is back open as of 2:30 p.m.

The Richmond Police Department reports that Berea Road/US 25 southbound at Center Drive is closed due to a crash on Thursday.
According to police, northbound is down to one lane, and first responders are on the scene.
Police ask that anyone traveling in the area use caution.
