GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) — Officials reported to LEX 18 that one man was apprehended after he fled in a reportedly stolen vehicle, causing a collision at Cherry Blossom and Champion Way on Monday afternoon.
According to officials, police found the reported stolen vehicle riding on one rim and three tires. When police attempted to stop the vehicle, the suspect reportedly fled in the vehicle.
Police deployed spike strips and the vehicle hit several other vehicles. One person was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police reported.
The man attempted to flee the crash scene on foot, however, police found him with the aid of bystanders, according to police.
