KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Kentucky Transportation Department District 11 reports that both lanes of KY 229 at mile point 6.8 in Knox County are closed due to a slide on Monday morning.
According to officials, traffic cannot pass at this time, and it is unknown how long it will remain closed.
Officials ask that drivers avoid the area and use alternate routes.
