LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lincoln County Sheriff Curt Folger says Hwy 27 South at KY 1247 is closed at Loop 4 after a "major power line" has come down.
Folger says the road could be blocked for 5 hours and there is no good alternate route because of poor road conditions.
He says people should avoid the area, referring to it as a "very dangerous situation." There will be a detour around Loop 4.
