Turning milder this week

Our rain chances are also going up.

The clouds have rolled after a bright start to the day. This will set the stage for a gloomy and slightly cooler start to the work week. Thanks to the cloud cover it won't be as cold tonight with lows only near freezing. A cold front will wash out as it crosses Kentucky tomorrow. The front may squeeze out a little drizzle, but mostly it will keep cloudy skies in tact. High temperatures will be held to the upper 40s Monday and Tuesday. There will be a brief glimpse at the sun and highs near 60° during the middle of the week.

Just as temperatures rise so will our rain chances. A cold front approaches on Thursday. This round will wrap up Friday. But we're not done with the rain just yet. Another round will arrive Saturday with showers lingering into Sunday. The rain will send high temperatures back into the lower 50s.
